Born in 1971, India.
Graduated in Science from Dr. H.S. Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.) in 1991.
Camera is always in my heart and mind since childhood. Pursuing my interest in photography, I moved to City of Lakes, Bhopal for further studies. Completed 3 years Diploma in Applied Videography from S.V. Govt. Polytechnic, Bhopal in 1994. I Topped the college and became President of my College.
As Mumbai is the dream of every aspiring talent, chasing my dreams I came to Mumbai in 1995 and started career as Assistant Cameraman in TV serials like Filmi Chakkar, Zee Horror Show, Hasratein, Sea Hawks, Suhana Safar, Rishtey and get associate with Cinematographer Mr. Vijay Arora and did Hindi Films like Vaastav, Tum Bin, Jungle directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, Anubhav Sinha, Ram Gopal Verma.
In the meanwhile I appeared for UPSC exam and came up with the 3rd rank in all over India. Got picked up and appointed as Cameraman in Doordarshan in the year 2000. But to pursue my dreams in Indian Cinema, I chose to drop this opportunity and continued to be the part of Indian Film fraternity. By this time I had started as an independent Cinematographer and did lots of popular music videos of T-series, HMV, Universal with Anupam Sinha, Anubhav Sinha, Rahul Sood and many more other directors. and shot more than 200 music videos till date.
Got first break as DOP in Hindi Feature Film “Praan Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye” by Mahesh Manjarekar in 2002, followed by many other Hindi and Regional films. I am equally involved in TV promos for Colors, Star, Sony, Zee & MTV and shot more than100 TV promos and few Ad films.
As an enthusiastic, energetic, creative and dedicate cinematographer, I love to feed my passion........
